We're
somewhere in Soho
The fun never ends
The usual suspects
Are what we call friends
The
snowbirds are flying
They bitch about art
They spot a new talent
And tear it apart
We're scorning the novel
And slinging the mud
The scene is reflected in puddles of blood
The
resident songbird
Has sung her last lie
The daylight betrays us
It's time for goodbye
The
parlour is empty
The punters have fled
The lucky have landed in somebody's bed
And
only insiders Know where, why and when
The usual suspects will gather again
To sneer and conspire
And set hearts on fire again
